مَاوِيَّةُ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

[Machine] My eyes have become accustomed to the kohl that contains perfume, and her husband has passed away. Would it be acceptable for me to wear kohl? She said, "By Allah, I will not command you to do something that Allah and His Messenger have prohibited."  

الطبراني:٢٠٤٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ مَوْلَاةٍ لِأَبِيهَا يُقَالُ لَهَا مَاوِيَّةُ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهَا أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَتْ

إِنَّ عَيْنِي تَعَوَّدَتِ الْكُحْلَ الَّذِي فِيهِ الطِّيبُ وَكَانَ تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا أَفَيَصْلُحُ لِي أَنْ أَكْتَحِلَ؟ فَقَالَتْ «وَاللهِ لَا آمُرُكِ بِشَيْءٍ نَهَى اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ عَنْهُ»
