[Machine] Umm Salamah was asked, "Does a woman cover her face while in her state of ihram?" She replied, "The caravans used to pass by us while we were with the Prophet ﷺ, and one of us would lower her garment over her face."  

الطبراني:٢٠٣٣١حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ

سُئِلَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ هَلْ تُغَطِّي الْمَرْأَةُ وَجْهَهَا وَهِيَ مُحْرِمَةٌ؟ فَقَالَتْ «كَانَ الرَّكْبُ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَتَسْدُلُ إِحْدَانَا عَلَى وَجْهِهَا الثَّوْبَ»
