[Machine] So, I met her servant who was helpful, so I sent him to her and asked her. Then he returned to him and informed him that she had told him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of janaabah (impurity) from sexual intercourse without having any wet dream, and then he would observe fasting.  

الطبراني:٢٠٣١٢حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ بَعَثَهُ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ

فَلَقِيتُ غُلَامَهَا نَافِعًا فَأَرْسَلَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَسَأَلَهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَنْبَأَهُ أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا»
