[Machine] "He came to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , from Yemen and invited him to Islam, so he embraced Islam. The Prophet stroked his head and prayed for him with blessings, and he was placed under the command of Yazid ibn Abi Sufyan. When Abu Bakr prepared the army for Sham (Syria), he went out with them and did not return."  

الطبراني:١٨٨١٧حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ هاني أَبُو مَالِكٍ

أَنَّهُ «قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ فَدَعَاهُ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَأَسْلَمَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةَ وَأَنْزَلَهُ عَلَى يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ» فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْجَيْشَ إِلَى الشَّامِ خَرَجَ مَعَهُمْ فَلَمْ يَرْجِعْ
