[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands parallel to his ears when he started his prayer. Then, when he said the takbeer, he would send them downwards. Sometimes, I would see him resting his right hand on his left hand. When he finished reciting the opening chapter of the Quran, he would become silent. And when he finished reciting a whole chapter, he would become silent as well. Then he would raise his hands parallel to his ears, say the takbeer, and bow. We would not bow until we saw him bowing. Then he would straighten up from the bow until every limb was in its proper place. Then he would raise his hands parallel to his ears, say the takbeer, and prostrate. He would place his forehead and nose on the ground. Then he would rise up as if he were an arrow, not relying on his hands. When he sat in the final part of his prayer, he would lean on his left thigh and place his right hand on his right thigh. He would point with his index finger when making supplications. And when he said the final salutation, he would rise quickly.
