[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ was given charity, he would not eat from it, but when he was given a gift, he would eat from it."  

الطبراني:١٧١١٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ» إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ لَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا وَإِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْهَدِيَّةِ أَكَلَ مِنْهَا

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was presented with food, he asked about it, If he was told that it was a gift, he ate out of that, and if he was told that it was a sadaqa he did not eat out of that.
