[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a well and found a dead, black dog in it. He became upset and said, "Why is this dog thrown into the well?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah, he was very thirsty and it seems he was fighting over some food with another dog." The Prophet ﷺ said, "How pitiful! Take him out." So, the Prophet ﷺ ordered for the dog to be taken out, washed, shrouded, and said, "Carry him." He also said, "The angels were about to precede us." Finally, he prayed for the dog.
