[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting is a shield, and charity extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire."  

الطبراني:١٦٤٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ السِّرَاجُ عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِيءُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يُطْفِئُ الْمَاءُ النَّارَ»
