الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Islam consists of three levels: the lower, the middle, and the higher. As for the lower level, it is the Islam that is followed by the majority of Muslims. No one among them is questioned except that they say, 'I am a Muslim.' As for the middle level, it is the superiority of some Muslims' actions over others. And as for the higher level, it is striving in the cause of Allah, which is only attained by the best among them."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْإِسْلَامُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَبْيَاتٍ سُفْلَى وَعُلْيَا وَغُرْفَةٌ فَأَمَّا السُّفْلَى فَالْإِسْلَامُ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عَامَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلَا يُسْأَلُ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَالَ أَنَا مُسْلِمٌ وَأَمَّا الْعُلْيَا فَتَفَاضُلُ أَعْمَالِهِمْ بَعْضُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ بَعْضٍ وَأَمَّا الْغُرْفَةُ الْعُلْيَا فَالْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ لَا يَنَالُهَا إِلَّا أَفْضَلُهُمْ
