[Machine] We accompanied Imran from Kufa to Basra, and not a day would pass without him reciting poetry to us and saying, "You have in the gatherings the hymns against lying."  

الطبراني:١٥٣٥٢حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ

صَحِبْنَا عِمْرَانَ مِنَ الْكُوفَةِ إِلَى الْبَصْرَةِ فَمَا أَتَى عَلَيْنَا يَوْمٌ إِلَّا أَنْشَدَنَا فِيهِ شَعَرًا وَيَقُولُ لَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ «إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْمَعَارِيضِ الْمَنْدُوحَةَ عَنِ الْكَذِبِ»
