عَفِيفُ بْنُ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيُّ

[Machine] From his right, I did not hesitate when a woman came and stood behind them. The young man recited takbeer and they both recited takbeer. Then, he bowed and they both bowed. Then, he prostrated and they both prostrated. I said, "O Abbas, this is a great matter." Abbas said, "This is indeed a great matter. Do you know who the young man is?" I said, "No." He said, "He is Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul-Muttalib, the son of my brother. Do you know who the woman is?" I said, "No." He said, "This is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid ibn Asad ibn Abdul-Uzza, the lady of the women of Quraysh, the wife of my nephew. And this is Ali ibn Abi Talib, the son of my brother. The son of my brother claims that his Lord, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, has commanded him with this religion. By Allah, I do not know of anyone on the face of the earth who follows this religion other than these three."  

عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَلَمْ أَلْبَثْ إِذْ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَامَتْ خَلْفَهُمَا وَكَبَّرَ الشَّابُّ فَكَبَّرَا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَرَكَعَا فَسَجَدَ فَسَجَدَا قُلْتُ يَا عَبَّاسُ أَمَرٌ عَظِيمٌ قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ أَمَرٌ عَظِيمٌ هَلْ تَعْلَمِ الشَّابَّ؟ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ هُوَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ابْنُ أَخِي هَلْ تَعْلَمُ مَنِ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ هَذِهِ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدِ بْنِ أَسَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ قُرَيْشٍ زَوْجُ ابْنِ أَخِي وَهَذَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبِ ابْنُ أَخِي زَعَمَ ابْنُ أَخِي أَنَّ رَبَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَمَرَهُ بِهَذَا الدِّينِ لَا وَاللهِ مَا أَعْرِفُ أَحَدًا عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ عَلَى هَذَا الدِّينِ غَيْرَ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثَةِ
