[Machine] I saw the Prophet ﷺ come to a sorrel horse in the market of the city, with my uncles following him. He touched its forehead with his fingers and said, "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."  

الطبراني:١٤٥٤٤حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ نُصَيْبٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى فَرَسًا شَقْرَاءَ فِي سُوقِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَعَ أَعْمَامِي بَادِي نَاصِيَتِهَا بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ وَقَالَ «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

I saw that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was twisting the forelock of a horse with his fingers and he was saying: (A great) benefit. i. e. reward (for rearing them for Jihad) and spoils of war, has been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Judgment.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَلْوِي نَاصِيَةَ فَرَسٍ بِإِصْبَعِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ الأَجْرُ وَالْغَنِيمَةُ
