مُرِّيُّ بْنُ قَطَرِيٍّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ

tabarani:14380 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdūs b. Kāmil > ʿAlī b. al-Jaʿd > Shuʿbah > Simāk b. Ḥarb > Murrī b. Qaṭarī > ʿAdī b. Ḥātim

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I ask you about a food that I leave not due to dislike, but out of shyness." He said, "Do not leave anything (food) that would benefit the Christians."  

الطبراني:١٤٣٨٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُرِّيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عَنْ طَعَامٍ أدَعُهُ لَا أدَعُهُ إلَّا تَحَرُّجًا قَالَ «لَا تَدَعْ شَيْئًا ضَارَعْتَ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ فِيهِ»
