سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ
[Machine] Utba ibn Farqad wrote to Abdullah ibn Zubair seeking advice regarding the jadd (relationship) and wrote, "Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If I were to take a close friend from my Ummah other than my Lord, I would have taken Abu Bakr as my close friend, but he is my brother in religion and my companion in the cave.' And indeed, Abu Bakr had the status of a father towards him."
