عَابِسٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

tabarani:12716Aḥmad b. al-Khaḍir al-Khuzāʿī al-Marwazī > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdah al-Marwazī from my father > Abū Ḥamzah al-Ssukkarī > Raqabah b. Maṣqalah > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿĀbis b. Rabīʿah al-Nakhaʿī

[Machine] A man asked Ibn Abbas, "Did you meet the Prophet ﷺ ?" He said, "Yes, I met him when I was a boy. His goal was to attend a festival, so he went out and ordered a female goat. He tied her near the house of Kathir ibn As-Salt and prayed towards her. Then he mentioned the people and advised them. Afterwards, he went up to the women and there was no man with him except Bilal. He reminded and advised the women with a verse from the Quran, and he encouraged them to give charity. I saw them reaching out with their ears and necks to give the charity to Bilal. Then he returned to his family."
