[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the first thing that Allah created was the pen and the fish." He was asked, "What is being written?" He replied, "Everything that will exist until the Day of Resurrection." Then he recited the letter "Nun" (which refers to a chapter of the Quran) and said, "By the pen and by what they write." It was not lifted from Hammad ibn Zaid except by Muammal ibn Isma'il.  

الطبراني:١٢٢٢٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُهْتَدِي الْمَرُّوذِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ ثنا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ تَعَالَى الْقَلَمُ وَالْحُوتُ قَالَ مَا أَكْتُبُ؟ قَالَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ن وَالْقَلَمِ فَالنُّونُ الْحُوتُ وَالْقَلَمُ الْقَلَمُ «لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ إِلَّا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ»
