[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , is it? If the Prophet ﷺ read it, I read it. And if the Prophet ﷺ did not read it, I did not read it. Then the man went away and said to me, "O Shu'bah, repeat it to me." So I repeated it to him. He said, "Woe to you, if he had read it, the people would have known."

الطبراني:١٢٢١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «§فِيهِمَا قِرَاءَةٌ» فَقَالَُ الرَّجُلُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ هُوَ؟ فَإِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَرَأَهُ قَرَأْتُ وَإِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ لَمْ أَقْرَأْ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ لِي يَا شُعْبَةُ رَدَّهُ فَرَدَدْتُهُ فَقَالَ وَيْحَكَ لَوْ كَانَ قَرَأَ عَلِمَ ذَلِكَ النَّاسُ
