[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ ransomed the captives of Badr, and the ransom for each of them was four thousand. Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt was killed before the ransom. Ali bin Abi Talib approached him and killed him patiently. The Prophet said, "Who will take care of the children, O Muhammad?" He said, "The fire."  

الطبراني:١٢١٥٤حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ الْجَزَرِيُّ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

فَادَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أُسَارَى بَدْرٍ وَكَانَ فِدَاءُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعَةَ آلَافٍ وَقُتِلَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ قَبْلَ الْفِدَاءِ قَامَ إِلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَتَلَهُ صَبْرًا فَقَالَ مَنْ لِلصِّبْيَةِ يَا مُحَمَّدُ؟ قَالَ «النَّارُ»
