[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ood approached Abu Jahl on the day of Badr while Abu Jahl was tied up. He asked for his sword and struck his neck, decapitating him. He then took his belongings and went to the Prophet ﷺ to inform him that he had killed Abu Jahl. The Prophet ﷺ made him swear by Allah three times, and he swore, so the Prophet gave him his belongings.
