[Machine] "There was a tall man holding a white sword in his hand," he said. "And Bara' was a short man who struck his legs with the sword, causing him to fall on his back," he said. "So I took his sword and sheathed mine, and I only struck once until it broke, then I threw it and took my sword."  

الطبراني:١١٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ §لَقِيَ الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ يَوْمَ مُسَيْلِمَةَ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ حِمَارُ الْيَمَامَةَ قَالَ

«رَجُلٌ طُوَالٌ فِي يَدِهِ سَيْفٌ أَبْيَضُ» قَالَ «وَكَانَ الْبَرَاءُ رَجُلًا قَصِيرًا فَضَرَبَ الْبَرَاءُ رِجْلَيْهِ بِالسَّيْفِ فَكَأَنَّمَا أَخْطَأَهُ فَوَقَعَ عَلَى قَفَاهُ» قَالَ «فَأَخَذْتُ سَيْفَهُ وأَغْمَدْتُ سَيْفِي فَمَا ضَرَبْتُ إِلَّا ضَرْبَةً وَاحِدَةً حَتَّى انْقَطَعَ فَأَلْقَيْتُهُ وَأَخَذْتُ سَيْفِي»
