tabarani:11799ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > ʿĀṣim b. ʿAlī > Isḥāq b. Yūsuf al-Azraq > Fuḍayl b. Ghazwān > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who commits adultery will not commit adultery while he is a believer." Ikrimah said, so I said to Ibn Abbas, "Then how is faith removed?" Ibn Abbas said, "Like this." And he interlaced his fingers, then pulled them apart and said, "When he repents, he returns to that (faith)."  

الطبراني:١١٧٩٩حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ» قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَكَيْفَ يُنْزَعُ الْإِيمَانُ؟ قَالَ «كَذَا وَوَصَفَ فَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهَا فَإِذَا تَابَ عَادَ إِلَى ذَلِكَ»
