[Machine] Amr ibn Al-Aas prayed with the people while he was in a state of ritual impurity. When they arrived at the Messenger of Allah, they mentioned this to him, so the Messenger of Allah called him and asked him about it. Amr replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I feared that the cold weather would harm me, and Allah has said, 'And do not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful'" So the Messenger of Allah remained silent.  

أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ ؓ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَلَمَّا قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَدَعَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَنِي الْبَرْدُ وَقَدْ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا} فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
