[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to deliver sermons on Fridays, and on the days of Eid and Eid al-Adha on the pulpit. When the Mu'adhin finished the call to prayer on Fridays, he would then stand up and deliver the sermon.  

الطبراني:١١٥١٨حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ السَّمَيْدَعِ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ»
