("أحى والداك؟ قال: نَعَمْ. قالَ: ففَيهما فَجاهدْ"

خ، م عن عبد الله عمر، عند د، ن، هـ من هذه الطريق: أن رجلًا جاء فاستأذن  

النبى ﷺ فاستأذنه في الجهادِ، فقال: إنى أريد أن أجاهدَ معك، فقال: ألَكَ أبوان؟ قال: نعم. قال: كيف تركتهمَا؟ فقال: تركتهما وهما يبكيان. قال: فارجع إليهما وأضْحكُهما، كما أبْكَيْتَهما، وسنده صحيح)
