السيوطي:٦٣٦٦a –

"إِنّ أَوَّلَ مَعَافَاةِ اللَّه للعَبْدِ أنْ يَسْتُرَ عَلَيْهِ سيَئاتِه في الدُّنْيا، وَإنَّ أَوَّلَ خزْىِ اللَّه لِلعَبْد أنْ يُظهِرَ عَلَيْه سَيِّئَاتِهِ".
