"عَنْ الأَوْزَاعِىِّ عن حِبَّان قَالَ: شَكَى أَهْلُ دِمَشْق إلى أَبِى الدَّرْدَاءِ قِلَّةَ الثِّمَارِ قَالَ: إِنَّكُمْ أطَلتُم حِيْطَانَهَا وأَكْثَرتُمْ حُرَّاسَهَا فَجَاءَ الوَبَاءُ مِنْ فَوْقِها".
