"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Ma'idah was sent down from the Heavens with bread and meat. And they were commanded to not be deceitful with it and hide it for tomorrow. So they were deceitful with it and they hid it, so it was raised up in the morning. Then they were transformed into monkeys and pigs.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3061)

"أُنْزِلَتِ المَائِدَةُ من السَّمَاءِ خُبْزًا ولَحْمًا فأُمِرُوا أَلَّا يخونوا، ولا يَدَّخِرُوا لِغَدٍ، فخَانُوا وادَّخَرُوا ورفَعُوا فَمُسِخُوا قِردَةً وخَنَازِير".  

[ت] الترمذي [هـ] ابن ماجة [حب] ابن حبّان [ك] الحاكم في المستدرك [طب] الطبرانى في الكبير عن عمار بن ياسر، قال الهروى: المائدة مأخوذةٌ من الميدِ وهو العَطاءُ
