"عَنِ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الأَمْرُ فِى بَنى أُمَيَّةَ مَا لَمْ يَخْتَلفْ بَيْنَهُمْ رُمْحَانِ، خَرَجَتْ منْهُمْ إِلَى يَوْم الْقِيَامَة".

"عن علي قال: لا يَزالُ هؤلاء الْقَوْمُ آخِدِينَ بثبج (* *) هَذَا الأَمْرِ مَالم يَخْتَلِفُوا بَيْنُهمْ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفُوا بَيْنَهُمْ خَرجَتْ مِنْهُمْ فَلَمْ تَعُدْ إلَيْهِمْ إلى يَوْمِ القِيامَةِ - يعني بني أمية".
