suyuti:4-583bʿAli

I said, "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said, "Say: My Lord is Allah, then remain steadfast." I said, "My Lord, and my success is only through Allah, in Him I trust and to Him I repent." He said, "Congratulations on your knowledge, O Abu al-Hasan, you have deeply drunk from the well of knowledge and taken from it abundantly."  

السيوطي:٤-٥٨٣b

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: قُلتُ يَا رَسُولَ (الله) أَوْصِنِى قَالَ: قُلْ: رَبِّىَ الله ثُمَّ اسْتَقمْ، قُلت: ربِّىَ، وَمَا تَوْفيقِى إِلَّا بالله عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلتُ وَإلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ، فَقَالَ: لِيَهْنَكَ العِلمُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ، قَدْ شَرِبْتَ الْعلمَ شُرْبًا، وَنَهَلْتَهُ نَهلًا".
