" عَنِ الزُّهرِىِّ قَالَ: دَخَلتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ العَزِيزِ فَسَألَنِى: أيُقْطَعُ العَبْدُ الآبِقُ إِذَا سَرَقَ؟ قَلت: لَمْ اسْمَعْ فِيهِ شَيْئًا، فَقالَ عُمَرُ: كَانَ عُثْمَانُ وَمَرْوَان لاَ يَقْطَعَانِهِ".
