"لا يُقْطعُ طَرِيقٌ، وَلَا يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ مَاءٍ، وَلَا ابْنُ السَّبِيل عَارِيَةَ الدَّلْو، والرَّشَا، وَالحَوْضُ إِنْ لَمْ يكُنْ لَهُ أَدَّاهُ بِعَينِه، وَيخُلَّى بَينَهُ وَبَينَ الرَّكِيَّةِ يَسْتَقِي، وَلَا يُمْنَعُ المَحْفَرُ إِذَا تَرَكَ الحَافِرُ خَمْسَةً وَعِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعًا عَطنًا لِلْمَاشِيَة".

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say, "A path should not be blocked, and the access to water should not be hindered from a traveler who is barefoot and carrying a bucket, a bucket rope, or a pitcher, unless he fills it with water himself and keeps it between him and the water source. Moreover, a digging pit should not be blocked if a passerby descends five and twenty cubits, allowing passage for pedestrians."  

الطبراني:٧٠٦٠وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ
