[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who has the most knowledge of the Book of Allah should lead the people in prayer. If they are equal in recitation, then the one who has more knowledge of the Sunnah should teach them. If they are equal in knowledge of the Sunnah, then the one who is older should lead them in prayer. He should not be led in prayer in his own authority, and no one should sit on his pulpit except with his permission."
[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: When there are three people, let the one who is most knowledgeable in the Book of Allah lead them in prayer. If they are equal in recitation, then let the one who is older lead them. If they are equal in age, then let the one who has the best appearance lead them.
