HAKIM 7943:
from Ḥabīb b. Maslamah —
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for retribution for the injury caused to him by a Bedouin unintentionally. Then Jibril ﷺ came to him and said: "O Muhammad, Allah did not send you as a tyrant or arrogant." So the Prophet ﷺ called the Bedouin and said, 'Take what is due from me.' The Bedouin replied, 'By my father and mother, I have forgiven you and I would never do such a thing if you had not come upon my own self.' So the Prophet ﷺ supplicated for him with goodness."
