"قالَ زِرٌّ: لَولاَ مَخَافَةُ سُلطانِكُمْ لَوَضَعْتُ يَدَىَّ في أُذُنَىَّ، ثُمَّ نَادَيْتُ: ألاَ إِنَّ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِى الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ فِى السَّبْعِ، قَبْلَهَا ثَلاَثٌ وَبَعْدَهَا ثَلاَثٌ، نَبَأُ مَنْ لَمْ يَكْذِبْنِى مَنْ لَمْ يَكْذِبْهُ - يَعْنِى: أُبَّىَّ بنَ كَعْبٍ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ ".
[Machine] If it were not for your foolishness, I would have put my hand in my ear and called out that the Night of Decree is the twenty-seventh night, a narration from one who did not lie to me about a narration from one who did not lie to me, meaning from Ubai ibn Ka'b, from the Prophet ﷺ . Abu Abdullah said, "Your fools, the letter 'ha' has fallen from my book."
