"عَنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: يَا أَسْلَمُ: لَا يَكُنْ حُبُّكَ كَلَفًا وَلَا بُغْضُكَ تَلَفًا، قُلْتُ: وَكَيْفَ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا أَحْبَبَتَ فَلاَ تَكْلَف كَمَا يَكْلَفُ الصَّبِىُّ بِالشَّئِ بِحُبِّه، وإذَا أَبْغَضْتَه فَلَا تُبْغِضْ بُغْضًا تُحِبُّ أَنْ يَتْلَفَ صَاحِبُكَ ويهلَكَ".
