"عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: نَهَى عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْوَرِقِ (بالْوَرِقِ) (*) إلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ أَوِ الزُّبَيْرُ: إِنَّهَا تُزَيَّفُ عَلَيْنَا الأَوْزَانَ فَنُعطِى الْخَبِيثَ وَنَأَخُذُ الطَّيِّبَ، فَقَالَ: لَا تَفْعَلُوا وَلكِنِ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَبِعْ وَرِقَكَ بِثَوْبٍ أَوْ عَرَضٍ، فَإذَا قَبَضْتَهُ وَكَانَ لَكَ فَبِعْهُ وَاهْضِمْ مَا شِئتَ وَخُذْ مَا شِئْتَ".
