"عَنْ أَبِى غِفَار قَالَ: مَرَّ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بِقَوْمٍ يَرْمُونَ فَقَالَ: مَا أَسْوَا رَمْيَكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: نَحْنُ مُتَعَلِّمِينَ، قَالَ: لَفْظُكُمْ أَسْوَا مِنْ رَمْيِكُمْ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: يا أَمِيرَ الْمؤْمِنينَ يُضَحَّى بالضَّبْى؟ قَالَ: وَمَا عَلَيْكَ لَوْ قُلْتَ: ظَبْىٌ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّها لُغَةٌ، قَالَ: رُفِعَ الْعِتَابُ، وَلَا يُضَحَّى بِشئٍ مِنَ الْوَحْشِ".
