"عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: أَكَلَ الْجَارُودُ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ: يَاِ جَارِيَةُ! هَلُمِّى الدِّسْتَارَ -يَعْنِى الْمِنْدِيلَ يَمْسَحُ يَدَهُ- قَالَ عُمَرُ: امْسَحْ يَدَكَ بِاسْتِكَ أو ذَرْ".
