"عن عائشةَ قالت: تُوُفِّى أبو بكرٍ بينَ المغربِ والعشاء، فأصبحنا فاجتمع نساءُ المهاجرين والأنصارِ وأقاموا النَّوح وأَبو بكر يُغَسَّل ويُكَفَّنُ، فَأمر عمر بن الخطابِ بالنُّوَّحِ فَفُرِّقْنَ، فواللَّه على ذلك إن كن تفرقن ويجتمعن".
