"عَن الحسن: أن عمرَ بنَ الخطاب سألَ عن آية من كتاب اللَّه، فقيل: كانت مع فلانٍ فقُتِلَ يومَ اليمامةِ، فقال: إنا للَّه! ! وَأمَرَ بالقُرآنِ فَجُمعَ، فكان أولَ من جمعه في المصحف".
