"عن سليمان بن أَبى حَثْمَةَ قال: قَالَتِ الشفاء بنتُ عبد اللَّه وَرَأَتْ فِتْيَانًا يَقْصِدُونَ في المشْى وَيَتَكَلَّمُونَ رُوَيْدًا فَقَالَتْ: مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالُوا: نسَّاكٌ، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ وَاللَّه عُمَرُ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ (أسمع) (*) وَإِذَا مَشَى أَسْرعَ، وَإِذَا ضَرَبَ أَوْجَعَ، وَهُوَ النَّاسِكُ حَقًا".
