"مَا مِنْ وَالٍ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمر المسلمين شَيئًا فَلم يُحِطْ مِنْ وَرَائِهم بِالنصيحةِ إلا كَبَّه اللهُ على وجهه في جَهنم يَوم يَجْمَعُ اللهُ الأَولين وَالآخرين".

[Machine] So he spoke to him, asked him, and treated him kindly. While they were in this state, Maqil said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever has been given authority over the affairs of the Muslims and does not advise them, then Allah will humiliate him in Hell on the Day when Allah gathers the first and the last of mankind.'"
فَحَدَّثَهُ وَسَأَلَهُ ولَاطَفَهُ فَبَيْنَا هُمْ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ قَالَ مَعْقِلٌ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ وَالٍ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمَرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ شَيْئًا فَلَمْ يَحُطْ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ بِالنَّصِيحَةِ إِلَّا أَكَبَّهُ اللهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللهُ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ»
