[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "News is not like seeing with one's own eyes. Indeed, Allah, the Almighty, informed Moses about what his people did with the calf, but he did not throw down the tablets until he witnessed what they had done, and then he threw down the tablets and they were broken."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْخَبَرُ كَالْمُعَايَنَةِ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ أَخْبَرَ مُوسَى بِمَا صَنَعَ قَوْمُهُ فِي الْعِجْلِ فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَفَلَمَّا عَايَنَ مَا صَنَعُوا أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ فَانْكَسَرَتْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "News is not like seeing. Indeed, Allah informed Musa (Moses) about what his people did with the calf, but he did not throw down the tablets. When he saw what they had done, he threw down the tablets."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ الْخَبَرُ كَالْمُعَايَنَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبَّرَ مُوسَى بِمَا صَنَعَ قَوْمُهُ فِي الْعِجْلِ فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَ فَلَمَّا عَايَنَ مَا صَنَعُوا أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on Moses. Seeing something firsthand is not like hearing about it from someone else. His Lord informed him that his people were being tempted after him, so he did not cast down the Tablets. When he saw them and witnessed their actions, he threw down the Tablets and said, 'May Allah have mercy on Moses, if he had not rushed, he would have heard something different from what he heard.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ مُوسَى لَيْسَ الْمُعَايِنُ كَالْمُخْبَرِ أَخْبَرَهُ رَبُّهُ أَنَّ قَوْمَهُ فُتِنُوا بَعْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُمْ وَعَايَنَهُمْ أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَى لَوْ لَمْ يُعَجِّلْ لَقُصَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ غَيْرُ الَّذِي قُصَّ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah said, "The one who sees is not like the one who hears. Allah informed Musa (Moses) that his people were being tested, but he did not throw the tablets. So when he saw them, he threw the tablets."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ «لَيْسَ الْمُعَايِنُ كَالْمُخْبَرِ أَخْبَرَ اللَّهُ مُوسَى أَنَّ قَوْمَهُ فُتِنُوا فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُمْ أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Seeing with one's own eyes is not the same as hearing a report." Allah said to Moses, "Indeed, your people have been tempted and they did not cast down the tablets. So when he saw, he threw down the tablets and broke them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْمُعَايَنَةُ كَالْخَبَرِ قَالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى إِنَّ قَوْمَكَ قَدْ فُتِنُوا فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَ فَلَمَّا عَايَنَ أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ فَكَسَرَهَا

"يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ مُوسَى، لَيْسَ الْمُعَايِنُ كَالْمُخْبرِ أَخْبَرَهُ رَبُّهُ أَنَّ قَوْمَهُ فُتِنُوا بَعْدَهُ، فَلَمْ يُلقِ الأَلْوَاح، فَلَمَّا رآهُمْ وَعَايَنَهُمْ أَلْقَى الأَلْوَاح".
