The Prophet ﷺ said, "Dreams of a faithful believer are a part of the forty-six parts of Prophethood:"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ».
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The (good) dream of a faithful believer is a part of the forty-six parts of prophetism."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ۔»
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A good dream is a part of the forty six parts of prophetism."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat." They asked, "What are Al-Mubashshirat?" He replied, "The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings).
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ إِلاَّ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالُوا وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew aside the curtain (of his apartment) and (he saw) people in rows (saying prayer) behind Aba Bakr. And he said: Nothing remains of the glad tidings of apostlehood, except good visions which a Muslim sees or someone is made to see for him. And see that I have been forbidden to recite the Qur'an in the state of bowing and prostration. So far as Ruk'u is concerned, extol in it the Great and Glorious Lord, and while prostrating yourselves be earnest in supplication, for it is fitting that your supplications should be answered.

The vision of a believer is the forty-sixth part of Prophecy.

The Prophet ﷺ lifted the curtain (and saw that) the people were standing in rows(of prayers) behind Abu Bakr. He said: O people, there remained nothing that gives good tidings from prophethood except a true dream which a Muslim has himself or which another Muslim has for him. I have been prohibited to recite the Qur’an while bowing or prostration. As regards owing, exalt the Lord in it, and as to prostration, make supplication with exertion in it, that is worthy of being accepted.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "All that will be left of prophecy after me are the mubashshirat." They said, "What are the mubashshirat, Messenger of Allah?" He said, "The true dream which a man who is salih sees - or which is shown to him - is a forty-sixth part of prophecy."

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةَ هِيَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَجْزَاءِ النُّبُوَّةِ
“A good dream from a righteous man is one of the forty-six parts of prophecy.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3893)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الرُّؤْيَا الْحَسَنَةُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ الصَّالِحِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ»
ذِكْرُ إِخْبَارِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ عَمَّا يَبْقَى مِنْ مُبَشِّرَاتِ النُّبُوَّةِ بَعْدَهُ
The Prophet ﷺ lifted the curtain (and saw that) the people were standing in rows(of prayers) behind Abu Bakr. He said: O people, there remained nothing that gives good tidings from prophethood except a true dream which a Muslim has himself or which another Muslim has for him. I have been prohibited to recite the Qur’an while bowing or prostration. As regards owing, exalt the Lord in it, and as to prostration, make supplication with exertion in it, that is worthy of being accepted. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 876)
كَشَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ السِّتَارَةَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَالنَّاسُ صُفُوفٌ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ مُبَشِّرَاتِ النُّبُوَّةِ إِلَّا الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُؤْمِنُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ أَلَا وَإِنِّي نَهَيْتُ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا أَوْ سَاجِدًا أَمَّا الرُّكُوعُ فَعَظِّمُوا فِيهِ الرَّبَّ وَأَمَّا السُّجُودُ فَاجْتَهِدُوا فِي الدُّعَاءِ فَقَمِنٌ أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ»
قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ
عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ ستة وأربعين جزءا من النبوة
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Prophethood has ended, and there is no prophethood after me except for glad tidings." It was asked, "What are the glad tidings?" He said, "Righteous dreams seen by a man or for him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ فَلَا نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ» قِيلَ وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ؟ قَالَ «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ»
The pious dreams are the seventieth part of Prophecy. (Using translation from Muslim 2265a)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّادِقَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَسَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ»
