" لله أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بتَوْبَة عَبْدِهِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ إذَا سَقَطَ عَلَيه بَعِيرُهُ قَدْ أضَلَّهُ بِأَرْضٍ فَلاةٍ".

Allah is greatly pleased with the repentance

bukhari:6309 – Isḥāq > Ḥabbān > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik [Chain 2] Hudbah > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than anyone of you is pleased with finding his camel which he had lost in the desert."  

البخاري:٦٣٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَحَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «اللَّهُ أَفْرَحُ بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ سَقَطَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ وَقَدْ أَضَلَّهُ فِي أَرْضِ فَلاَةٍ۔»  

ahmad:13227 – ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > ʿUmar b. Ibrāhīm > Qatādah > Anas

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you who loses his camel in a barren desert and then finds it."  

أحمد:١٣٢٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
