"حُرِّمَ عَلَى عَيْنَيْنِ أَنْ تَنَالَهُمَا النَّارُ: عَيْنٌ بَكَتْ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّه ﷻ وَعَيْنٌ بَاتَتْ تَحْرُسُ الإِسْلَامَ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُفْرِ".

[ك] الحاكم في المستدرك والحاكم في الكنى، [هب] البيهقى في شعب الإيمان عن أَبى هريرة

[Machine] I heard Abu Hurairah say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is forbidden for two eyes to be touched by the Fire: an eye that shed tears out of fear of Allah, and an eye that stayed awake to guard Islam and its people from the people of disbelief in it."
