"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."' (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake, and what is correct is the one that is before it. We do not know of anyone who followed up Ibn Kathir.  

النسائي:٢٢٥٦ – أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ عَلَيْهِ

[Machine] I saw the Prophet ﷺ using it. Abu Abdur Rahman said, "And this is more correct than what came before it, and Allah knows best."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٩٣٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ §رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُصَفِّرُ لِحْيَتَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَفِّرُ بِهَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ»
