"And Al-'Abass was in Al-Madinah, and he asked the Ansar for a garment to clothe him in, but they could not find a shirt that would fit him except the shirt of 'Abdullah bin Ubayy, so they clothed him in it."  

النسائي:١٩٠٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو

سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ وَكَانَ الْعَبَّاسُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَطَلَبَتِ الأَنْصَارُ ثَوْبًا يَكْسُونَهُ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا قَمِيصًا يَصْلُحُ عَلَيْهِ إِلاَّ قَمِيصَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُبَىٍّ فَكَسَوْهُ إِيَّاهُ
