The Prophet ﷺ got a ring made for himself and said, "I have got a ring made (for myself) and engraved a certain engraving on it so none of you should get such an engraving on his ring." I saw the glitter of the ring on his little finger.

صَنَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا قَالَ إِنَّا اتَّخَذْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشْ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ قَالَ فَإِنِّي لأَرَى بَرِيقَهُ فِي خِنْصَرِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'We have had a ring made with an inscription, and no one else should copy this inscription.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدِ اصْطَنَعْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا عَلَيْهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشْ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ

The Prophet [SAW] had a ring and he said: "We have had a ring made with an inscription, and no one else should copy this inscription." It is as if I can see its shining on the little finer of the Messenger of Allah [SAW].

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اصْطَنَعَ خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ إِنَّا قَدِ اتَّخَذْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا عَلَيْهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشْ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ وَإِنِّي لأَرَى بَرِيقَهُ فِي خِنْصَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring made for him, and he said: ‘I have had a ring made for me and had it engraved, and no one should make a ring with similar engraving.’”

اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ إِنَّا قَدِ اصْطَنَعْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشَنَّ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring made for him, and he said: ‘I have had a ring made for me and had it engraved, and no one should make a ring with similar engraving.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3640)
