الكبرى للنسائي:٨٣٣٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَجْلَحُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

«مَا أَعْرِفُ أَحَدًا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَبَدَ اللهَ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا ﷺ غَيْرِي عَبَدْتُ اللهَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَعْبُدَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ»
